PORTSMOUTH —Now that Portsmouth homeowners have seen their new property assessments under the most recent reevaluation conducted by the town along with Vision Government Solutions, it’s only human to compare and contrast how one home was valued over another.
The new property assessments, issued in late February, were based on 100 percent of market value as of Dec. 31, 2022.
We looked at a baker’s dozen of properties in town, almost all chosen at random, to get a sense of how values have gone (mostly) up during the recent revaluation.
All the information was taken directly from the Vision Government Solutions website, and is public record. Members of the public are welcome to search the data base by going here.
