Imago exhibit brings together the artwork of 40 artists

Posted

Imago Foundation for the Arts (IFA) will bring together the artistic contributions of 40 current and former IFA exhibiting artists and community members from November 24 – December 23 at Imago Gallery, 36 Market Street, in Warren, RI.

The public is invited to a free reception for the participating artists that will be held from 5 – 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 2. The festivities will include a short performance at 6:30 p.m. by the Bristol Shakespeare Reader’s Group. Warren resident Sarah Weed will join Bristol residents Ray Edler, Joni Pratt, Thomas Tihen, and Jim Manchester in a celebration of familiar and perhaps not so familiar quotations gleaned from many of the Bard’s 37 plays. Each participant has chosen a favorite quote to declaim as the “audience” at Imago celebrates the eclectic art that will be on display.
