Albert Alan Carraturo, 47, Bristol

Albert Alan "Mr. Wilson” Carraturo, 47, of Greenway Drive, passed away on April 30.

He is survived by his mother, Maria Gentile, father John Carraturo and his wife Carol; children Jessica Jobin and Sean Jobin; sisters Pamela Rosenblatt and her husband Stuart, Rachel Gomes and her husband George, and Wendy Arel Vento; and brothers Robert Macomber and his wife Cheryl, John Carraturo and Joseph Kane.

Mr. Carraturo attended Bristol Schools and was employed in the construction industry.

His funeral services will be held Friday, May 8, 10 a.m. from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood St. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bristol. Calling hours are Thursday 4 – 8 p.m.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
