Alfred A. DaCosta, 86, of 1499 Peacham Road, Danville, Vt., formerly of Warren, passed away on March 5 after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Florence (Boulanger) DaCosta, who passed away in 2011.

Born in Warren, he was the son of the late Anna and Joseph Costa.
He worked at the Crown Fastener in Warren for many years as a tool and die maker. The few years before retiring he was a blackjack dealer at Foxwoods Casino. He had a passion for bowling in his earlier years as well as being an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan forever. He was a Sgt. E5 in the Army National Guard for several years.

Alfred was the father of Michelle (Boulanger) Bullock; father-in-law of William Bullock; grandfather of Kristy Rieth and Jessica Turner; great-grandfather to Kaylyn Foote, Leighanna Rieth, Lilian Turner and Jennifer, Jake and David Rieth; great-great-grandfather of Emilee, Mason, Luke, Brodie and Luna. He is survived by his brother Edward Costa and family. His other siblings were the late Olive Acciardo and Joseph Costa, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He requested no services so we ask that you have a toast to his life.
Donations may be made to Caledonia Home Health Care & Hospice in St. Johnsbury, Vt.
