Experts lead guided walks through conservation land

This weekend, the Barrington Land Conservation Turst will lead free guided walks daily through a 10-acre stretch of marsh, grassland and wooded upland surrounding a tidal cove. Each walk will last approximately 45 minutes, and will be held during low tide, allowing attendees a closer view of shore birds and the opportunity to walk along the beach. The Trust asks that participants dress for the weather and wear waterproof shoes. 

WHERE: Allin’s Cove Conservation Area, Barrington

WHEN: Friday, Jan. 6, at 1 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 7, at 1:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Jan. 8, at 2 p.m.

COST: Free and for all ages
