Celebrate and experience local art with Art Night Bristol Warren as we kick off our 13th summer season on the last Thursday of each summer month from 5:30pm - 8:30pm. From open studios to live music and performances, Art Night is the place to be for visitors of all ages, and admission is free. This summer, Art Night invites our community to connect with the arts within easily walkable neighborhoods in Bristol on May 30th, Warren on June 27th, Bristol on July 25th and Warren on August 29th.

Join Art Night at our kickoff party on May 30th at 5:00 pm at Pivotal Brewing in Bristol, featuring live music with Lily Rhodes, Elsa Schloemer, and Ms. Maness and featuring artwork from Heather Nolan. Pick up an ANBW Venue Bingo Card and fill it with stickers from participating venues for prizes from our generous venues and local restaurants. A youth artist show will be exhibited and youth musicians will perform at Bristol Art Museum. Visitors will be able to explore galleries and other venues featuring local artists throughout downtown Bristol including ReMax River’s Edge, Beau Blue Boutique, Hotpoint, Graham Gallery, Caron Jewelers, East Bay Comics, Rogers Free Library, Bristol Historical and Preservation Society and more. Art Night heads to Warren on June 27th where studios and shops along Main and Market Streets and inside Cutler Mills will be open for visitors. Returning to Bristol on July 25, Art Night will feature a variety of open studios and performances. On August 29th, Art Night returns to Warren along Water Street and inside The Handkerchief Factory on Main Street.

Meet our staff
Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
