The four candidates competing for three seats on the Barrington Town Council will meet in a live forum-debate on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m.
The League of Women Voters of Rhode Island is hosting the “Meet the Candidates Zoom Forum,” in partnership with the Barrington Times.
Independent candidate John Alessandro and Democrats Annelise Conway, Robert Humm and Carl Kustell will be taking part in the program. Each will have an opportunity to make statements, as well as answer questions posed by the moderator, Barrington resident and East Bay Media Group general manager Scott Pickering.
The public, as well as all candidates and co-sponsoring organizations, are welcome to submit questions prior to the forum. Questions must be submitted by email to Carolyn Rosenthal at chaslyn45@aol.com on or before Monday, Oct. 19.
The League of Women Voters of Rhode Island is non-partisan. The organization is dedicated to promoting voting and informing voters about issues affecting them.
The program will also be recorded and posted to the League website at lwvri.org.
