Barrington Police responded to a Barrington residence for an ongoing dispute between two tenants — police said the first floor tenant claims the second floor tenant allows their dog to urinate on the second floor porch, which is located directly above the first floor porch.
The first call to police regarding this situation was on Thursday, June 20. At that time, Barrington Police stopped by the home and told the second floor tenant to make sure the dog did not urinate on the porch.
On Wednesday afternoon, June 26, police received another call from the same residence. Police said the first floor tenant complained that the dog upstairs had again urinated on the porch.
Police spoke with the second floor tenant, who said she did not allow the dog onto the porch — she said a child had possibly spilled a juice box on the porch, which then leaked through onto the first floor porch.
On Thursday, June 27, Barrington Police were back at the same residence. This time, the first floor tenant filed a complaint against the property owner for improper drainage of gutters.
