Barrington High School students feasted on free bagels this Sunday, March 21, as they were treated to a Bagel Drive-Thru event at Bagels Etc.
Deb Sullivan (mom of BHS senior Connor Sullivan) helped coordinate the event with Bagels Etc. owner Tim Gorman (father of BHS senior Jackson Gorman).
Seniors pre-ordered their bagel and drink orders over the last few weeks, and on Sunday at 1 p.m., they arrived to pick up their lunches. Parents helped direct traffic to keep the event safe and move things along. The BHS Parents Association paid for the special treat for all the seniors.
The Bagel Drive-Thru was one of several events being planned by “Parents” of the BHS Senior Class of 2021. (Earlier this year, members of the senior class received candy treats on Valentine’s Day.)
