‘Borders, Boundaries, and Beyond’ on exhibit at Imago Gallery June 8 – July 13

Experience an artistic exploration of "Borders, Boundaries & Beyond" in a collection of 51 artworks created by 30 regional artists on exhibit at Imago Gallery, 36 Market Street in Warren, Rhode Island, from June 8 to July 13.
An opening reception for the artists will be held on June 8 from 5-8 p.m. where cash awards will be presented. All are welcome to attend this special event which will include musical accompaniment by guitarist Jason Valcourt.
Imago Foundation for the Arts (IFA) invited regional artists to express their unique perspectives as they explored geopolitical and personal boundaries and offered glimpses into their artistic imagination.
The artwork on display was selected from 113 entries by juror Jesse Thompson, a sculptor and fine artist who currently teaches in the Art, Media and Design Department at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and represents a wide array of media including drawings, acrylic, oil, encaustic, ink and watercolor paintings, photography, mixed media, glass, sculpture and assemblage.

Artists whose work will be on display include Dot Bergen, John Buron, N. Casale, Dan Connelly, Sharon Cutts, Sarah Daughn, Linda DiFrenna, Susie Dorr, Jordyn Fullaway, Susan Graseck, Michael Guertin, Gary Heise, Eric Hovermale, Mandy Howe, Mary Hurwitz, Marc Jaffe, Bonnie Jaffe, Carl Keitner, Dave Kendrick, Leslie Keohane, Scott Lewis, Deb Lichtenstein, Chong Liu, Sam Lowder, Linda Megathlin, Elizabeth Melfi, Blayney Norton-Hayes, Laura Travis, Beth Voso, Meredith Wolf, Michael Yefko.

IFA is a non-profit organization run by artists for artists whose mission is to inspire creativity and promote art-making that enriches our communities. Regular gallery hours are Thursdays 12-3 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, 12-6 p.m. and Sundays 12-4 p.m.
