A “Charity Concert for the Westport Food Pantry” takes places this Saturday, Oct. 8, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the outdoor stage behind the Town Hall Annex building, 856 Main Rd., Westport. There will be live music from the band “Who Made Who,” an ACDC tribute band.

Tickets are $5 per person or $15 per family. People can pre-register at www.westportrec.com or pay cash at the gate the day of the event. Monetary donations will also be accepted for the Westport Food Pantry at the entrance gate if people so choose.

The Westport Food Pantry is working hard every week to give free food to those in need, handing out on average of 150 bags of food every Monday. With a rise in inflation and the cost of food, it’s more important now than ever to help those in need. For information about the Westport Food Pantry, please visit www.westportfoodpantry.org.
