Decoding Fireflies at Seekonk Library

Fireflies are one of the delights of late summer evenings outdoors; how can we better enjoy them and protect them for generations to come? Come to Seekonk Public Library for Decoding Fireflies on Wednesday, July 24 at 6 PM to rekindle your child-like wonder of fireflies. Ryan Gould, Education Coordinator at Oak Knoll Mass Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary, will be on hand to teach you why they light up, how to identify them by flash patterns, and how to protect and engage with them, even attract them to your own backyard.
