The Barrington High School boys outdoor track team kicked off the dual meet season with wins over Portsmouth (82-71) and Mt. Hope (141.66-8.33) on Tuesday, April 5.
Nate Greenberg led the way for the Eagles, winning the 100-meter dash and running a leg in the first-place-finishing 4x100-meter relay team. Greenberg partnered with Jackson O’Connor, Andrew Blazewicz and Iain DeBoth in the relay win.
Barrington’s Ethan Knight won a pair of events — the 110-meter hurdles, and the 300-meter hurdles.
Asher Robbins won the hammer throw with a distance of 211 feet, 4 inches, and Sean Fearon won the discus with a distance of 121 feet. Michael Fay was tops in the javelin with a throw of 144 feet, 2 inches, and Dan Lemos won the shot put with a distance of 34 feet, 11 inches. Pierce Wilkerson won the triple jump.
