The Barrington High School boys indoor track team picked up three wins during a regular season meet on Wednesday night, Jan. 5.

The Eagles defeated Hope 104-5, Mt. Pleasant 98-11, and Burrillville 90-19.

Barrington swept a number of events during the meet: 3,000-meter race, 55-meter hurdles, weight throw, 600-meter race, high jump, 4x400-meter relay, and the long jump. 

In the 3,000, Finn Myatt finished first, followed by Henry Schultz and Elliot Lefort. Ethan Knight won the 55-meter hurdles, followed by Eli Terrell and Bobby Wind.

Michael Fay won the weight throw, while Joe Adams was second and Ronan Maddock was third. Henry Stockwell won the 600-meter race, and Brandon Fiedade was second and Charlie Stockwell was third. 

In the high jump, Terrell finished first followed by Hayden Knight in second and Gabe Tanous in third. 

The Eagles’ 4x400-meter relay team, comprised of Henry Stockwell, Ethan Knight, Hayden Knight and Iain DeBoth finished first. 

Terrell, Williams Wilkerson and Ryan Martin went 1, 2, 3 in the long jump. 

Barrington also secured the top two spots in the 55-meter dash, as DeBoth and Tanous finished in first and second. And Piedade won the 1,500-meter race. 

Michael Chun finished second in the 1,000, followed by his brother Daniel Chun. Wind finished second in the 300-meter race. 

The Eagles’ 4x200-meter relay team was disqualified because of a hand-off issue.
