East Providence Police arrested two Pawtucket men stemming from an attempted theft at a city business Monday, May 27.

Isaiah Dalomba, 22, and Temilolluwa Akano, 20, are facing charges of Assault with Intent to Commit a Felony and
Conspiracy for their alleged involvement in a robbery of Cricket Wireless located at 328 Warren Ave.

Officers responded to the call Monday, obtaining descriptions of two males that demanded money from a store employee. Officers were told the suspects locked the door behind them upon entering the store. A brief altercation ensued before both suspects left the establishment in a black Nissan Altima.

Using victim’s statements, surveillance video and Flock Safety Cameras, the vehicle was located by patrol officers in the Riverside section of the city. The vehicle was occupied by Dalomba and Akano, who were positively identified as those responsible for the attempted robbery at the store. The suspects were placed under arrest and transported to the police station to be booked.

Dalomba and Temilolluwa Akano were also presented as bail violators on previous criminal charges. Both were transported to the ACI until their arraignment at District Court.
