Fall Visitors Weekend at West Place Animal Sanctuary

Posted

Fall in love with Clover the emu and the other new rescues at West Place Animal Sanctuary in Tiverton!

West Place Animal Sanctuary invites you to be among the first to meet Clover the emu and a trio of dwarf goats rescued in August. Plus, you can catch up with all of your favorite animals who continue to thrive in the peace and tranquility of West Place. Our Fall Visitors Weekend is the perfect opportunity to gather friends, family, and fellow animal lovers for an unforgettable experience at Rhode Island’s oldest and largest farm animal sanctuary.

Interactive and educational tours leave every half hour and will last approximately 75 minutes. Get up close and personal with cows, alpacas, horses, donkeys, pigs, ducks, chickens and many more.

Our growing Gift Shop is filled with hand-made crafts, one-of-a-kind items created from upcycled farm materials, and delicious “farmbucha” – a kombucha drink brewed on site by West Place Farmbrew.

Tours will sell out fast so advance online registration is recommended. Adult tickets are $26 when purchased online ($28 at the gate) and kids 12 and younger always receive a discounted ticket price of $15. Dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes or boots, and prepare to discover (or re-discover) one of the gems of Rhode Island.

All donations benefit the farm animals and wildlife at West Place Animal Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2007.
