The ninth season of Food Truck Fridays is underway at Carousel Village in Roger Williams Park. Events take place Friday, from 5 to 8 p.m., from now through Sept. 29. This weekly tradition is filled with delicious food from the best local food trucks, live entertainment, and much more. Food Truck Friday has been named the best food event in the state by Rhode Island Monthly for the past five years.
Attendance is free; tickets are not necessary. Just pay for what you eat and drink from an ever-changing rotation of more than 15 food trucks each week. Local beer and wine are available from Trinity Brewhouse. The food trucks accept cash, credit, and debit cards.
Take a carousel ride, hop on the train (additional cost), or enjoy Hasbro’s Boundless all-abilities playground. Bring a chair or blanket and relax while enjoying delectable food and drinks.
The musical act this week is The Concept, which will perform at the Cinco De Mayo-themed Food Truck Friday.
