EAST PROVIDENCE — Led by Maryann Lasorsa, Director of Choral Activities, and Marisa Silva, Director of Bands, with assistance by accompanist Olivia Kleyla, East Providence High School music students held their annual concert Thursday night, Dec. 8, in the Elmasian Auditorium.

The chorus performances included: Gloria from Missa Kenya Paul Basler, solo by Megane Leopold; Ad Astra by Jacob Narverud; Glow by Eric Whitacre; Carol of the Bells by Leontovych; Circa Mea by Mark Burrows; Mary, Did You Know? by Mark Lowry; Trouble the Water Traditional Spiritual/Jackson, soloists were Zachary Shaker and Kennedy Salgueiro; Christmas Valentine Barnes, soloists were Wyatt Keough and Kennedy Salgueiro; What a Wonderful World/I Love You by Craig Hella Johnson, soloists were Carter Bessette Warwick, Wyatt Keough and Joshua Jean-Louis.

The concert band performances were: Skygazer Fanfare by Randall Standridge; Moon of Winter Traditional, Arranged by Vince Gassi, soloists were Emma Silva - clarinet, Dana Rondon-Marte - flute, Carmen Dallaire - flute, Jayon Goncalves - alto saxophone; Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy by Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky, Arranged by Robert W. Smith & Michael Story; Jingle Bell Gallop by James Pierpoint, Arranged by Wagner

The wind ensembles performances were: Centuria by James Swearingen; Heatherwood Portrait by James Barnes, soloist was Isabella Hurley; and Twas The Night Before Christmas, Arranged by Jack Bullock, Narrated by EPHS Principal Bill Black.
