Glenn C. Conway, 54, of Bristol passed away unexpectedly on April 20, 2021.
He was the husband of Kristen (Cotrone) Conway for 26 years, and is survived by his three children, Robert, Megan and Brian Conway. He was the son of the late Virginia (McCarthy) Conway and Robert Conway. He was the brother of Amy St. Pierre (Dan). Glenn is also remembered by his large, loving family of two nieces, 37 cousins and his 12 aunts and uncles (McCarthy Family).
Glenn was a graduate of Warren High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College. He was a Clinical Lab Scientist for 30 years and recently worked for the Town of Bristol as a Chemist/ Pretreatment Coordinator.
Glenn loved his family, taking time every year to go on road trips all packed tightly together in the car. We celebrated our love of learning and quality time by visiting museums, scenic hiking spots and lounging together on beaches all along the East Coast. Glenn always went above and beyond to make sure our family ventured out of our comfort zones and made wonderful memories doing what we love together.
Glenn enjoyed sitting on his porch at his home across from the Town Hall and at his grandparents’ home on High Street. He greeted many by name and especially enjoyed all the Bristol Fourth of July events. Glenn was a volunteer firefighter and assisted at the Warren Wrestling Club. He was proudly inducted into the Warren Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.
Funeral services are pending at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Bristol Fire & Rescue, PO Box 775, Bristol RI 02809 or Warren Wrestling Club, 72 King Philip Avenue, Bristol RI 02809.
