The induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 27 at 5 p.m. (dinner at 6 p.m.) at the Rhode Island Country Club. Tickets are $85.
Seven athletes, one team, a coach, and a contributor will be inducted. The 10 inductees are: athletes Lynn (Douglas) Bishop 86’, Erin Donnelly 04’, Joe Goniprow 06’, Jeff Harper 79’, Jim McBride 83’, Adam Resmini 01’ and Scott Vierra 81’; the 1995 Boys Hockey Team; Coach Ed Bradley; and contributor Mike Topazio.
“Like the first eight BHS Athletic Hall of Fame classes, this is an extremely strong group which spans different generations, sports and roles,” said Kevin Ryan, Chairperson of the Hall of Fame Committee. “The Boosters and the community look forward to officially inducting them and sharing the highlights of their specific achievements and dedication at the ceremony.”
Ryan said the purpose of the Barrington Booster Club is to encourage, stimulate and support all interscholastic and intramural sports in the Barrington school system.
Anyone wishing to purchase tickets can send an order form and a check— made out to the "Barrington Booster Club" — to Barrington Booster Club, c/o Kevin Ryan, 21 Harrison Ave., Barrington, RO 02806.
