NUMBER OF THE BEAST brings the most authentic Iron Maiden
show to Courthouse Center for the Arts by recreating the unique sound of Iron Maiden during
their early and very popular years with Bruce Dickenson. A full night of
Iron Maiden’s hits as well as their outstanding deeper cuts.

NUMBER OF THE BEAST band members are experienced musicians
fully influenced by Iron Maiden’s lineup and accurate to their playing
style, consisting of Magna Carter Records and Rocker Records
recording artist Ethan Brosh on guitar, touring and recording artist with
3 solo albums; Sliptrick Records recording artist Mark George on
drums; Keith Pittman on vocals, session vocalist for Michael Sweet and
Stryper; Carlos Adrian Araiza, guitar; Paul Sylvia, bass guitar.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
