Letter: A Town Hall inconvenience

Posted

To the editor:

On Nov. 14, my mother and I arrived at the Town Hall at 12:10 p.m. While we do understand that there was a funeral and the entire staff attended, the sign said clearly that someone would return at 12:15.

Ten of us were outside the door waiting to get in. It wasn't until almost 1 p.m. that someone unlocked the doors.

I would suggest that next time they have at least one or two people to assist those of us who wish to pay our taxes, otherwise just close for the day. That was a huge inconvenience for her.
