Letter: Give our girls their own field

Congratulations to the Barrington Minor Division All-Star girls softball team for their recent championship run!

What is even more impressive is that the girls did all this without a softball field in the town. They have to practice in a glorified dirt patch behind the Primrose school, and they can't have any home games. Pretty bad for a town that takes pride in and values athletics for all our kids — not just the boys!

Barrington softball is back on the map! Now let's get these girls a field, so there's a home address!

Thanks,

Leo Espindle
