We would like to echo Joe Collins’s suggestions about freezing the tax rate for people who are above 65 years of age. We have supported this town through our taxes for over 25 years. Having had two children go through the schools in Barrington, there have been a lot of years, after they graduated high school, that we did not have children in the school system. It would be nice to not have to pay further increases in the real estate tax bill.
