Marion Theresa Costa, 92, Bristol

Marion Theresa (Cabral) Costa, 92, of DeWolf Avenue, passed away on April 26. She was the wife of the late Louis S. Costa.

Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Augusto and Margaret (Cardoza) Cabral. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Furtado and her husband John, Eileen Herndon and her late husband Stanley, and Louis Costa Jr. and his wife Barbara.  She was the grandmother of Karen Gibeau, John Furtado Jr, Benjamin Costa and Amy Costa; and the great grandmother of Justin Allen, Alexis Gibeau, Colin Gibeau, Lily Furtado and Joshua Furtado. She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Lial, Diamantina Mello, Lucy Vales and Laura Rodrigues; and brothers Manuel Cabral and August Cabral.

Mrs. Costa attended Warren schools and worked at both Raytheon and Crown Fastener before retiring.

Her funeral services will be held Friday, May 1 at 10 a.m. from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood St. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bristol.

Memorial  donations may be made to:  Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence RI 02914, or Grace Barker Activities Fund, 54 Barker Ave., Warren RI 02885. Calling hours are Thursday 4-7 p.m.
