Michael R. Joubert, 51, Tiverton

Michael Raymond Joubert, 51 of Tiverton, passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Louise (Lima) Joubert of Tiverton and the late Raymond Joubert.

He was a graduate of New England Tech. and worked as a boiler technician.

Michael loved boating, fishing, riding motorcycles, camping, dancing and hanging out with his friends.  Friends referred to him as "Joub" and "Mike the boiler man," and he was known for his big heart and generous spirit.  He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Michela Joubert, and his sisters Jacqueline Joubert and Brenda Haldane (husband David).  He also leaves aunts and uncles, Maureen and Frank Lima of Indiana and Elaine and Gene Whittemore of Arizona; cousins and many friends.

Visitation is Friday from 5-8 p.m.  His funeral will be held Saturday at

9 a.m. from the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home, 462 Main Road, Tiverton, with a

10 a.m. Mass at Holy Ghost Church. Burial will be at Pocasset Hill Cemetery.  www.almeida-pocasset.com for online guestbook.
