Mildred Destremps, 78, Tiverton

Mildred “Millie” (DeCosta) Destremps, 78, of  Tiverton, wife of Ronald Destremps, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021.

She was the parish secretary for St. Christopher’s and St. Barnabas Parishes.

Millie was the mother of Chris Destremps, Karen Pereira, Kevin Destremps, Carl Destremps (wife Kristen), Rick, and the late Stacy Marie; the mother-in-law of Melissa Sumner; the grandmother of Ashley, Jared, Adam (wife Magan), Ian (wife Chelsie), Samantha, Olivia, Laura, Aubrey, and the late Trisha; the great-grandmother of  Henry, Paige,  Karver, Liam and Mila; the sister of Manny (wife Mary) and the late Alice and Louis; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews. 

Her Funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 10, at 11 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church, 1697 E. Main Road, Portsmouth.  Burial will be private. Visitation will be prior to Mass at the church beginning at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements by Auclair Funeral Home.
