BHS vs. Prout

Barrington swept Prout School in a home-and-away two-game series last week. On May 7, the Eagles defeated the Crusaders in Wakefield, 7-4. And on May 9, Barrington hosted Prout and won 4-0.

Lawson handled the bulk of the pitching duties for Barrington in the first game against Prout. After allowing a run in the first inning, Lawson settled down and limited the Prout bats. Luke Tanous crushed a triple into the left-centerfield gap to lead Barrington’s offense.

Connor Marley pitched a shutout through six-and-two-thirds innings in the second game, and Gabe Tanous closed it out in the seventh. Fontaine and Thomson each smashed triples for the Eagles.
