Briana White is an acoustic/pop force hailing from Providence, RI. Using her guitar as both a string and percussion instrument, with the help of her loop pedal she creates unique harmonies and rhythms that quickly grab the attention of anyone within earshot. She will be in the taproom on Friday, June 7th from 6:30-9:30 pm.
In 2018, she took home the Motif Magazine award for “Best Americana Singer/Songwriter,” in a category filled with talent across the state of Rhode Island. In 2020, she was listed on GoLocalProv’s “20 People to Watch for in 2020’’ and also earned a spot in the “21 to Watch in 2021.”

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
