The Newport Navy Choristers present “Proudly We Sing,” celebrating 70 years of song and service, with a benefit concert this Friday, May 19. The 7:30 p.m. performance benefits the James L. Maher Center, which is also celebrating its 70th anniversary.

WHAT: Celebrating music from the past seven decades, from the fabulous ’50s to today

WHERE: St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth

WHEN: 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 19
