BRISTOL, RI— On Saturday night September 25th Northeast Championship Wrestling and the 2021 Season finally makes its return to the Almeida VFW Post (850 Hope Street Bristol, Rhode Island) for NCW LIVE, welcoming NCW fans back to the VFW for wrestling action for the first time since November 2019.

Doors open at 7pm with a 7:30pm bell time and all tickets are only $10 each at the door and are available for purchase at theNCW.com/tickets or at the door the night of the event.

NCW LIVE will feature many of your favorite NCW wrestlers stepping into the ring as the road to WrestleFest XVI continues, headlined by the new NCW Heavyweight Champion LUMBERJAKE returning to Bristol with his championship gold around his waist after winning the NCW Championship in the Big City Rumble last month in Dedham. The reigning two-time NCW New England Champion “THE ACE” MIKE MONTERO will also be in action when NCW returns September 25th, looking to continue his dominant reign as New England Champion.

Also appearing September 25th will be hometown hero ROBBIE “THE GIANT” ARAUJO and BULLET JOE BARRETO, “INSANE” DICK LANE, “RIOT” KELLAN THOMAS, FOXY CALVIN CAMPBELL w/ DOC OZONE, “THE SUPLEX SWEETHEART” ISANA, LITTLE MEAN KATHLEEN, DOCTOR REGINALD HERESY, DALLAS MCCARTHY and THE LEAGUE OF EXCELLENCE, RICKY MEDEIROS, and many more!

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
