There was a special swearing-in ceremony for newly elected Barrington town officials on Monday night, Dec. 5.

The event, held inside the Barrington Town Hall council chambers, also offered people an opportunity to acknowledge the town officials who were stepping down from their posts.

The Barrington Town Council also voted for leadership positions — Carl Kustell was elected president of the council, while Rob Humm was chosen as vice president.

• Barrington Town Council members: Kate Berard, Annelise Conway, Rob Humm, Carl Kustell and Braxton Howard Medlin

• Barrington School Committee: Amanda Regino Basse, Frazier Bell, Megan Douglas, Patrick McCrann and TJ Peck

• Barrington Town Moderator: Richard Staples
