Barrington Police responded to New Meadow Road at about 8 p.m. on. Saturday, March 30, after receiving a report of children throwing cheese at passing vehicles.
A motorist told police she was driving south down New Meadow Road when she spotted children pop up from behind some bushes and throw slices of cheese at her vehicle.
The motorist pulled over and removed the cheese from her vehicle. She told police she did not want to pursue charges, but did want an apology.
The children later apologized.
