PROVIDENCE—Barrington's Lady Eagles defeated Moses Brown, 14-11, to win the RIIL Division I Girls Lacrosse Championship at Brown University on Saturday evening. The Lady Eagles led from start to finish despite a scoring drought and a let down in the second half where the Quakers cut their lead to, 12-10, with 3:29 left to go in the game. After a time out, the Eagles came out flying and scored two more goals for the victory and their second straight D-I championship. After a celebration at midfield the Eagles were crowned the champs and Mary Kate Coogan was named the games MVP. For more check out this week's Barrington Times.
