PORTSMOUTH — Portsmouth High senior Emily Maiato scored 17 points in leading the Patriots to a 49-46 victory over Barrington in a Division I contest at home Monday night.
The win improved the Patriots’ record to 7-3 in the conference and 8-4 overall. Barrington is now 6-3 in Division I and 8-5 overall.
Other scorers for Portsmouth were junior Olivia Durant with 14 points, senior Maeve Tullson with 7, junior Ava Moore with 5, senior Ava Hackley with 4, and senior Morgan Casey with 2.
The Patriots were scheduled to play Westerly on the road Wednesday, Jan. 18 (after the Times’ print deadline). They’ll face La Salle Academy on the road at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26.
