Providence's waterfront celebration and fireworks are July 2

The City of Providence hosts its Independence Day Celebration and fireworks show on Tuesday, July 2, beginning at 5 p.m., in partnership with Narragansett Brewery. The event, which will feature family fun, live entertainment, and a fireworks display, is free and open to the public.
 
The celebration is sponsored by the City of Providence and Providence Tourism Council. Food trucks will be open starting at 5 p.m., with live music from Big Lux and the Hype to follow. The fireworks display is expected to last from 9 to 9:30 p.m.
