Public input sought on Bristol Warren school construction projects

Posted

Superintendent Ana C. Riley and the Bristol Warren Regional School District would like to invite community members to attend visioning work sessions that will support the district's ongoing facilities master plan development.

Bristol Warren is working on a facilities master plan in order to achieve a goal of submitting a funding application to the Rhode Island Department of Education's School Building Authority.

The district will hold three visioning sessions to help community members better understand and share their thoughts on the development of the district's facilities master plan:

  • The Middle School visioning session will be held on Tuesday, May 30 from 6-8 p.m. at the Kickemuit Middle School Cafeteria, 525 Child St., Warren.
  • The High School visioning session will be held on Wednesday, May 31 from 6-8 p.m. at the Mt. Hope High School Cafeteria, 199 Chestnut St., Bristol.
  • The Elementary School visioning session will be held on Thursday, June 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the Colt Andrews School Cafeteria, 570-574 Hope St., Bristol.

Members of the school community are strongly encouraged to attend one of the sessions to engage in the process and learn more about the goals and priorities of the district's capital improvement plan. The discussions will be led by members of the district's design partner, Perkins Eastman, and its educational planning partner, CIVIC.
