Re-enactors brings the Revolutionary War to life at Coggeshall

Coggeshall Farm Museum, in collaboration with Captain Tew’s Co. (2nd Rhode Island Regiment), will host a living history event going back to 1778 during the British occupation of Rhode Island. Nearly 200 re-enactors will bring the Revolutionary War era to life — both military and domestic life.

WHAT: “The Bristol Expedition”

WHEN: Saturday, Aug. 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 18, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine

WHERE: Coggeshall Farm Museum, 1 Colt Drive, Bristol

COST: Included with daytime admission ($10 for adults, $5 for youth ages 4 to 17)
