Barrington lost to South Kingstown 17-15 on Monday, April 15.

Barrington led 4-2 after four innings but South Kingstown scored six runs in the top of the fifth and took an 8-4 lead.

South Kingstown scores eight runs in the seventh inning

Barrington lost to South Kingstown 17-15 on Monday, April 15.

Barrington led 4-2 after four innings but South Kingstown scored six runs in the top of the fifth and took an 8-4 lead. 

The Eagles scored three in the bottom of the fifth and cut the lead to 8-7. The Rebels responded with another run in the top of the sixth, but Barrington exploded for six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and built a 13-9 advantage going into the final frame.

But South Kingstown was not finished — the Rebels scored eight runs in the top of the inning and drove off with a 17-15 victory. 

The Rebels finished the game with 12 hits while Barrington had 11. The Eagles committed eight errors in the loss.

Ruby Ciummo had three hits and drove in three runs for the Eagles.
