R.I. Home Show comes to Providence all weekend

The 73rd annual Rhode Island Home Show takes place this Thursday to Sunday, March 30 to April 2, at the R.I. Convention Center

The largest home improvement and idea show in Southern New England, it actually features six shows in one — the 10th Annual Energy Expo, the 10,000-square-foot Garden Experience, the new Inspiration Showcase, Art of the Ocean State, and the Specialty RI Flower Show. There will be hundreds of home-related exhibitors with trends, services, and ideas in home improvement, remodeling, interior design, decorating, landscaping, and more

Tickets are: $12 for adults, 10 for seniors and free for children 15 and under. All tickets are good for four days. They can be purchased at the Convention Center on the day of the event or online in advance. Learn more here: https://ribahomeshow.com/

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
