Spring Visitors Weekend

Posted

Meet the amazing farm animal rescues of West Place Animal Sanctuary in Tiverton!

You’re invited to West Place Animal Sanctuary’s first public visitors weekend of the year. Gather your friends, family, and fellow animal lovers for an unforgettable experience at Rhode Island’s oldest and largest farm animal sanctuary. Get up close and personal with dozens of species, including cows, alpacas, donkeys, pigs, geese, and more. Join us in our year-long celebration of the senior rescues who are allowed to grow old at West Place.

Don’t forget about the spring plant sale, and explore the newly renovated and expanded gift shop filled with hand-made crafts, one-of-a-kind items created from upcycled farm materials, and three flavors of “farmbucha” – kombucha brewed on site by West Place Farmbrew.

Interactive and educational tours will leave every half hour, for a total of 30 tours throughout the weekend. Tours will sell out fast so advance online registration is recommended. Online tickets are discounted for adults, and kids 12 and younger always receive a discount. Dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes or boots, and prepare to discover (or re-discover) one of the gems of Rhode Island.

All donations benefit the farm animals and wildlife at West Place Animal Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2007.
