Tiverton police arrest man for illegal tracking device

A caller reported an erratic driver on Route 24 at 4:07 a.m.

A report of a suspicious vehicle at Fogland Beach came in at 9:12 p.m.

A Persimmon Drive resident filed a noise complaint at 9:30 p.m.

A caller reported suspicious activity at Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 11:23 p.m.

Tuesday, July 30

A Windwood Drive resident requested an officer at a Main Road business at 4:55 a.m.

Residents reported fraud at Robert Gray Avenue at 8:48 a.m. and at Haskins Avenue at 10:37 a.m.

A Sawdy Pond Avenue resident reported a neighbor dispute at 2:52 p.m.

David R. Silva, 54, of 29 Canonicus Street, was charged with domestic violence – electronic tracking device motor vehicle – first offense, following a call from a Canonicus Street resident at 3:55 p.m.

Reports of suspicious vehicles at businesses on Main Road and Stafford Road came in between 6:45 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 31

Suspicious vehicles were reported on Main Road, Bulgarmarsh Road, and Hurst Lane between 12:30 a.m. and 3 a.m.

A report of a suspicious person on Riverside Drive came in at 1:44 a.m.

A caller filed a motor vehicle complaint on Hobson Avenue at 11:28 a.m.

Animal complaints came in from Seapowet Avenue and Lake Road between 7 and 9 p.m.

A Long Pasture Way resident reported a weapons violation at 9:25 p.m.

Callers reported suspicious vehicles on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 10:49 p.m. and on Route 24 at 11:12 p.m.

Thursday, August 1

A report of a suspicious person on Stafford Road came in at 12:51 a.m.

A Harbor Ridge Lane resident reported a suspicious vehicle at 2:17 a.m.

A Farnum Street resident reported larceny at 4:10 a.m.

Aidan Kosinski, 20, of 414 Mitchells Lane, Middletown, was charged with driving with suspended/revoked/cancelled license – 4th offense, after a 911 caller reported an accident on the Sakonnet River Bridge at 8:16 p.m.

A Bluff Avenue resident reported harassment/threats at 9:05 p.m.

A report of suspicious activity on Main Road came in at 11:58 p.m.

Friday, August 2

A report of a suspicious vehicle on Main Road came in at 1:42 a.m.

Joseph Robert Sousa, 63, of 49 Hancock Street, Apt. 4, was issued a summons for  willful trespass after a caller reported trespassing on Stafford Road at 9:57 a.m.

A caller reported wires down on Neck Road at 10:13 a.m.

A caller reported suspicious activity on Fish Road at 11:17 a.m.

A King Road resident reported harassment/threats at 4:28 p.m.

A Riverview Avenue resident requested an officer to keep the peace at 4:51 p.m.

A suspicious vehicle on Canning Boulevard was reported at 6:08 p.m.

A caller reported larceny on Fish Road at 7:35 p.m.

A report of a weapons violations on Main Road came in at 8:43 p.m.

An animal complaint came in from Bulgarmarsh Road at 10:18 p.m.

Saturday, August 3

A report of a suspicious vehicle on Main Road came in at 1:31 a.m.

Callers reported suspicious individuals on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 1:33 a.m. and Stafford Road at 1:53 p.m.

Nicole C. Repoza, 35, of 134 South Main Street, West Bridgewater, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor or drugs, first offense, .15/greater, following a car stop on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 2:03 a.m.

A caller reported a tree down on Brayton Road at 7:35 a.m.

A caller reported larceny at Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 9:43 p.m.

Sunday, August 4

Robert A. Carmo, 55, of 181 Albion St., Apt. 1, Fall River, was charged in connection with an affidavit and arrest warrant after a report of a suspicious vehicle on Tiverton Casino Boulevard came in at 10:21 p.m.
