Warren man facing possession charge

A Warren man is facing a drug possession charge following a traffic stop on Saturday, Oct. 31, in town.

A Barrington police officer ordered a vehicle over to the side of County Road at about 6 p.m. because it did not have its headlights on.

Police later conducted a search of the vehicle, and allegedly discovered a number of marijuana items and nearly $600 in cash inside.

Police then charged the vehicle's driver, Julius G. Perrotti, 22, of Warren, with possession of marijuana-first offense. Police said Mr. Perrotti had more than 2 ounces of marijuana in his possession, including THC gummies.
