Sadie Medina, 48, of 73 Canario Dr., Warren, was arrested and charged with the false report of a crime.

Police searched for a black pickup truck on Market Street who was reportedly driving erratically, tailgating people and speeding at 2:51 p.m. They didn’t locate the aggressive driver.

Christopher R. Cioe, 34, of 91 Reservoir Ave., Swansea, Mass., was arrested at 4:02 p.m. following a disturbance on Market Street. He was charged with an active bench warrant from the 6th District Court. He was transported to the ACI later that day.

Police checked on a man who had been lying on a bench on Main Street for several hours at 5:30 p.m. He was fine and went on his way.

Tuesday, April 9
Police dispersed juveniles from the area of Main and Campbell Streets at 12:29 a.m. after someone called to make a noise complaint.

A Terrace Avenue resident reported a scam resulting in loss of funds at 10:39 a.m.

A Main Street business owner called police at 11:56 a.m. after suspecting a woman had entered the establishment’s bathroom to do drugs. No evidence of such activity was found.

A DoorDash driver caused a stir on Metacom Avenue at 2:00 p.m. after looking into a basement window trying to find the proper address to make a delivery.

A Libby Lane resident reported possibly falling prey to a Microsoft scam at 3:58 p.m.

Wednesday, April 10
Evin I. Ruano Gonzalez, 26, of 700 Myles Standish Blvd., Apt. #A, Taunton, Mass., was arrested at 12:54 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop. He was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer. He was arraigned and released later that morning.

Police responded to Highlander Charter at 8:50 a.m. following a report from the principal that a student walked out of school.

A Central Street resident called police at 2:29 p.m. after a man walked through their back yard. Police learned he worked for Rhode Island Energy.

Thursday, April 11
A William Street resident reported that money had been withdrawn from their account without permission at 11:53 a.m.

Police responded to a report of an attempted breaking and entering incident on Main Street at 2:20 p.m.

A Ridgeway Drive resident reported a hit and run that occurred on that street at 3:39 p.m.

A Brown Street resident reported at 6:33 p.m. that their walker had been stolen from their front porch.

A caller reported at 7:11 p.m. that a man had just pulled a knife on him near Main and Wood Streets. Police didn’t indicate finding the suspect.

A caller reported at 8:05 p.m. that there were three men at the Park N’ Ride on Franklin Street who appeared to be “smashing things.” Police dispersed the men from the area and did find trash in the vicinity. RIDOT was advised of the mess.

Friday, April 12
Police dispersed a person who was sleeping under a canopy on Metacom Avenue at 12:34 a.m.

A Turner Street resident reported at 8:41 p.m. that their flower pot had been damaged, and they believed it could have been the wind, but seemed unlikely to have been the wind. They asked for extra patrols in the area overnight.

As the result of an incident occurring on Child Street at 9:09 p.m., Kevin W. Soscia, 68, of 28 Child St., Apt. #6, Warren, and Phillip D. Breedy, 58, of 28 Child St., Apt. #5, Warren, were both arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Police reported that one man had used a golf club to assault the other, while the other used a crowbar. Neither men wished to pursue felony assault charges against the other.

Police dispersed juveniles from the driving range on Market Street at 9:13 p.m. The kids claimed they thought the range was open.

Saturday, April 13
A man from Central Court visited police headquarters at 9:37 a.m. to hand in firearms ammunition and an “old waterlogged firearm.”

Police received a Tip411 report that two juveniles threw an item at a passing vehicle on Market Street at 6:23 p.m.

Sunday, April 14
Cory J. Grifka, 21, of 10 Frank Ct., Warren, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop at 4:33 a.m. near Vernon and Howland Streets. He was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer.

Monday, April 15
Anthony D. Marshall, 32, of 26 Harbor View Ave., Bristol, was arrested at 2:10 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop near Main and Bradford Streets. He was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer. He was arraigned and released later that morning.
