Posted

Coggeshall Farm Museum is hosting the magic of Characters on the Farm: Wizard of Oz edition. On Saturday, June 22, families and friends are invited to follow the hay bales into the world of Oz right here in Bristol.

Throughout the day, the characters of Dorothy, Glinda, the Scarecrow, and the Lion will roam the farm, interacting with guests and posing for photos. In addition to meeting the characters, visitors can partake in a variety of themed activities and crafts inspired by the tale of the Wizard of Oz.

“We’re excited to welcome families to see the Wizard of Oz come to life on the farm,” said Coggeshall Farm Museum’s Executive Director Shelli Costa. “This enchanting programming is a great way to encourage visitors to experience the farm in new and exciting ways. Characters on the Farm promises to be a magical experience that creates cherished memories for all.”

Pre-registration is highly recommended, as tickets to this event are expected to sell out. Guests can choose from four arrival times: 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., or 2 p.m. To purchase tickets online, visit coggeshallfarm.org/event/characters-on-the-farm/. Ticket prices range from $8 to $15. Guests are welcome to explore the farm until closing at 4 p.m.
