Thank you so much for the excellent article in last week’s East Bay papers about the status of music performance in the schools. You balanced all of the important information so well and placed a superb spotlight on the importance of music performance to our students, and the huge discrepancy as to how this vitally important academic subject has been handled as compared to sports.
At the same time, you put a great spotlight on some excellent music teachers and schools that are doing it the right way. Bravo!
