Adamsville was a sea of many shades of green on Sunday, March 17 for the start of the marvelous and amazing, but very short, St.Patrick’s Day parade. There was not a grumpy face to be seen, but there were endless smiles from the participants, the organizers, and the enthusiastic crowd.

What a special treat in this age of sometimes toxic discord to witness so many joyful people coming together to support the common cause of feeding those with food insecurity in our wider community.  My heartfelt thanks to the very special people who put this event together, and to the marchers, the bands, the cooks, and all of the folks who came out to cheer us all on. It was  a wonderful day.
