A report of a suspicious person on Alan Street came in at 3:27 p.m.

A caller reported debris on Route 24 at 4:03 p.m.

A White Tail Lane resident reported trespassing at 4:40 p.m.

A Riverside Drive resident reported a missing person at 6:27 p.m.

A caller asked police to check the condition of a driver on the Sakonnet Bridge at 9:46 p.m.

Tuesday, March 19

A 911 caller reported vandalism at Brayton Road at 8:08 a.m.

An animal complaint came in from Brayton Road at 12:04 p.m.

A resident complained of soliciting on Fish Road at 1:03 p.m.

A report of vandalism at a Main Road business at 5:09 p.m.

Wednesday, March 20

A Hancock Street resident requested an officer at 1:24 a.m.

A 911 caller reported an unwanted party on Main Road at 3:25 a.m.

Ian Hunter Madrigal, 31, of 122 Harbor Ridge Lane, was charged with obstructing an officer in execution of duty in connection with an arrest warrant at 8:55 a.m.

A caller reported debris on Fish Road at 11:02 a.m.

A report of an erratic driver on the Sakonnet Bridge came in at 2:32 p.m.

A White Tail Lane resident reported trespassing at 4:06 p.m.

A caller reported a suspicious person on Fish Road at 7:17 p.m.

Thursday, March 21

A 911 caller reported burglary/breaking and entering on Hooper Street at 2:29 a.m.

An animal complaint on Bulgarmarsh Road came in at 3:36 a.m.

A caller reported debris on the Sakonnet Bridge at 5:59 a.m.

A Stafford Road resident reported a landlord/tenant issue at 9:56 a.m.

A caller reported harassment/threats on Main Road at 9:38 p.m.

Friday, March 22

A Crandall Road resident reported a scam at 8:59 a.m.

A Bowen Avenue resident reported violation of a restraining order a 10:46 a.m.

A report of an erratic driver on Chace Avenue came in at 2:44 p.m.

A 911 callers asked police to check the condition of a driver on Route 24 at 4:15 p.m.

Nicole A. Franco, 37, of 507 Alden St., Apt. 120, Fall River, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, BAC .1 to .15; reckless driving and other offenses against public safety; and possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance – 10 grams or less, after a 911 caller asked police to check the condition of a driver on Route 24 at 5:10 p.m.

Roger E. Stours, 62, of 101 Blueberry Lane was charged with domestic simple assault and/or battery and domestic disorderly conduct after a caller reported a domestic incident on Blueberry Lane at 6:55 p.m.

A 911 caller reported a disturbance on Cornell Road at 7:29 p.m.

Tiffany Lynn Couto, 43, of 128 Broad St., Apt. 3, Fall River, was charged with disorderly conduct after a 911 caller reported a disturbance on Main Road at 8:57 p.m.

A caller reported a disturbance on Riverview Avenue at 10 p.m.

Felix J. Rosado, 46, of 67 Flynn St., Apt. 2, Fall River, was charged with trespassing, weapons other than firearms prohibited, and resisting arrest in connection after a caller reported trespassing on Tiverton Casino Boulevard at 10:11 p.m.

Jazmin Medeiros, 33, of 295 Brownell St., Apt. 2, Fall River, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct and reckless driving and other offenses against public safety after a 911 caller reported an accident on Briggs Lane at 11:09 p.m.

Saturday, March 23

Holli B. Faria, 45, of 650 Crandall Road was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, BAC unknown, following a car stop on Eagleville Road at 2:08 a.m.

A resident complained of soliciting on Bridle Way at 10:09 a.m.

A Blueberry Lane resident requested an officer to keep the peace at 10:49 a.m.

A caller reported debris on Main Road at 11:28 a.m.

A caller requested an officer at a Main Road business at 11:58 a.m.

A 911 caller reported a disturbance on Thibault Lane at 1:01 p.m.

A Kitchener Street resident requested an officer at 1:09 p.m.

A report of a suspicious vehicle on Carpenter Street came in at 2:07 p.m.

A Mill Street resident reported suspicious activity at 3:02 p.m.

A report of vandalism on Tiverton Casino Boulevard came in at 4:05 p.m.

A Stafford Road resident reported a landlord/tenant issue at 9:05 p.m.

Sunday, March 24

A report of a suspicious vehicle on Main Road came in at 3:03 a.m.

Callers requested an officer on Stafford Road at 6:36 a.m. and on Ledoux Lane at 925 a.m.

A caller reported a suspicious person at a Main Road business at 11:05 a.m.

An animal complaint on Massey Road came in at 11:54 a.m.

A 911 caller reported a disturbance on Mill Street at 2:54 p.m.

A caller complained of soliciting on Fish Road at 4:23 p.m.

Brendan J. Silva, 22, of 50A Warren Ave., was charged with reckless driving and other offenses against public safety following a car stop on Fish Road at 6:55 p.m.

An animal complaint on Main Road came in at 7 p.m.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once.
