The 14th annual “Finish for a Guinness” 5K road race kicked off on Sunday morning, with a large group of runners kicking off from the Old Warren Marina on Church Street — with $150 cash prizes on the line for the top male and female runners. The event has been a major fundraiser for ALS research, specifically in honor of Christoper Stone, who lost his life after being diagnosed with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease) in 2009.
