Posted

On Sunday, April 24 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. the Warren Land Conservation Trust will hold an event celebrating the return of the osprey to the area, along with a recognition of Earth Day.

The event, held at the Audubon Nature Center (1401 Main St., Bristol), will feature a presentation by photographer and Warren Conservation Commission Chair Butch Lombardi that explores the life cycle, migratory patterns and habitat of the osprey through his vivid and captivating photography and first-hand stories.

Local folk duo Atwater/Donnelly will play a set of songs inspired by nature and the spring season to add a festive flair to the occasion, and participants will be invited on a guided nature walk to Jacob’s Point (weather permitting).
